During 1925-2000 Sri Sri Vidyamanyateertha Swamiji presided over as the chief pontiff of Udupi\u2019s Bhandarakeri Matha and Palimaru Matha. His Holiness was one of the greatest scholars in the line of Madhwa saints. HH had the ability to refute, with proof, all possible objections that could be raised against the Madhwa philosophy. Marveled at Swamiji\u2019s argumentation skills during debates, even people of other doctrines have bowed heads. His contributions to the Madhwa society are innumerable. The pontiffs of all eight Mathas of Udupi have directly or indirectly learnt from Him. Furthermore, through Vidyapeetas, HH has prepared several legions of scholars. HH was the primary motivation for Sri Vishveshateertha Swamiji to establish the renowned Poorna Prajna Vidyapeeta in Bangalore.<\/p>

HH was immensely interested in doing repeated research on the scriptures of Vedanta and Dharma and publishing them. He was also willing to take all possible steps to propagate Vedic knowledge. <\/p>

With the savings from the small offerings received during His Paada Pooja, His Holiness had procured ancient scriptures that had dispersed across the country, studied and researched them, and had published several treatises. With a team of scholars, HH had researched the palm-leaf manuscripts available in the Matha and had made tens of publications back then itself. This work used to take place during the spare time in Swamiji\u2019s daily routine. Realizing that this pace was insufficient for research, His Holiness established an organization, Tattwa Samshodhana Samsat, exclusively for this cause.<\/p>

Through this organization, HH has published the Sarvamoola Granthas of Sri Madhwacharya, and also notes and commentaries on these, and facilitated the studious community. The forethought of HH has fructified and flourished the organization to great heights. Today, our organization is well known in the field of Indian philosophical studies<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
