Is the infant crying excessively?

Tell me who isn’t fond of children? Everybody adores them. The child’s laughter, its endearing babbling, the smartness displayed by a child, the manner in which a child creates a fuss and obtains the thing it needs in its hands are all enchanting. Parents eagerly describe even the child’s stubbornness to visitors and expect them to listen with amazement. Only when this obduracy increases a little will worry start showing on their faces, particularly when the crankiness goes overboard the intensity of the agony the mother feels is known only to those who have endured it. It’s all beautiful as long as he child is playful. But when the child is unable to express its problem and cries loudly it brings grief for everyone!

This is a frequent problem in homes with small children. It is good if there are elders around. Each of them pulls out a gem from their mine of experience that comes in handy at alleviating the problem. If the problem transcends their experience then Doctor mama is always there. But if this problem crops up at late night or it is impossible to visit Doctor mama immediately, it is bound to give rise to apprehension. Having lost patience the helpless husband and wife begin a volley of accusations.

don’t get unnerved. These troubles are commonplace in the world. The solution to this has been prescribed by the incarnate Lord Vedavyasa himself. Follow the means advocated by him after cleansing the mind & body, keeping faith. Certainly Lord will extend a helping hand towards your child. He will shower a spring of comfort that your child needs in some way. The child will contentedly slip into sleep in a moment, in the morning as usual will come and wake you up wearing a spotless smile!

The seventh chapter of Bhagavata elucidates the divine pastimes of Shri Krishna. Kamsa who knew that death would befall him through the offspring of Devaki and Vasudev had all their infants killed is something we are all aware of. God himself descended upon earth as the eighth infant. Everyone also knows that Putani set out to kill Shri Krishna and ended up being killed herself. The Gopas and Gopis of Vajrakula who witnessed this miraculous feat by the infant Krishna were astounded. They realized this was no ordinary infant, he was exceptional. However out of natural human nature hope nothing happens to the young boy and pray that the various organs of Balagopala be protected by the corresponding forms of God.

A question may arise as to what was the need for the Gopis to chant a divine hymn when Lord Vishnu who is capable of instilling fear as well as destroying it himself had incarnated as Krishna. Besides they were devoid of complete knowledge of God so they were of the opinion that although the infant was special he was still human. Thus the ignorant people of Vraja prayed “May God protect this child.”

Overall the phenomenal love that the Gopis had for the child made them chant the divine hymn. It is this very divine hymn that will rescue our and your children from fear, evil eye, nightmares and pain in the body’s limbs. This is the divine medicine extracted and given to us by Lord Vedavyasa.

At the end of this article I have given the Mantra in the various languages I know. Print this and keep it. Everyday wash your hands and feet, wear clean clothes, sit in front of Rayaru, remember his antargata Bharatiramanaantargata Shri Vishnu and chat this mantra at least once. While chanting keep the child close-by. This will definitely keep the problems that a child is likely to encounter at bay.

At midnight when the husband and wife duo are at home and the child begins to cry out of immense travail, do not worry. Sit in front of Rayaru and chant this Mantra 3 – 4 times. Later call Doctor mama. This Mantra will also wake up the Doctor mama from his deep slumber and bring him towards your home.
